We had our first major snow fall of the year.

I thought I would catch Ava playing in the white stuff. But, by the time I was ready to go out, she was coming back in.  Of course, I waited too long to catch the fresh dramatic snow.  So, I knew I would have to do a little digging.

Shirley suggested the cone flowers in our side yard.  Not a bad suggestion. What do you think?

I had a morning assignment photographing sandwiches for a clients packaging.  The packaging photographs show the whole sandwich on white with a large depth of field.

Between shots I started playing with light, close up and shallow depth of field hoping to catch an image for my 365.  I photographed a few things.  My chap stick, an old scale in the room (almost made the cut), and pieces of the sandwiches.

Some sandwiches didn’t work up close, but I thought the composition of the sandwich above worked out well.  What do you think? edible?
