I had my camera with me all day.

I visited fashion photographer Dan Lippitts studio for a while – nothing struck me. I did photograph some sea shells at home thinking a summer theme would be fun in the middle of winter.  Nothing good.

I ended up in my back yard again.  I do see a theme developing with the winter flowers.

I shot this image as the sun was going down. I used off camera flash along the side with a wide angle lens.  I created a lot of images.  Two are posted on flickr.

I think the flowers almost look like trees at this angle, what do you think?

They do look like trees. Nice photograph…I like the perspective.

Great angle. And I’ve gotta make the argument that every place is someone’s back yard.

    You make an excellent point.

I agree. “Trees” is the first thing I thought.

Love your perspective choice. Autumn Joy Sedum are a great photography subject all year long. Excellent work!
