I took this photograph Sunday with Shirley’s camera. These are my friends Wensdy White (left) and Judy Davids (right) from the Mydols playing at the Ferndale Family Hootenanny. (I took the photo Sunday for the blog, but was late posting it).
I wonder what it was like during the buildings hay-day.
I decided last night if I didn’t find anything better I would cheat on today’s photo (taken a couple hours early). I photographed at the Pistons game Friday night. Shirley and Ava also attended. We had a great time.
Part of my duties were on the court. It has been couple years since I’ve photographed a Pistons game. It was good to freshen up the portfolio.

My plan was to photograph other architectural features of this building – on the Wayne State University Campus. But, the shadows and angles of the ramp on the front of the building caught my eye. What do you think?
This is a photograph of a deer antler I (or a family member) found a long time ago in Montana.
I had a very nice 2.5 hour tour of the MGM Grand today. Mostly behind the scenes stuff. I think I have a number of good images for my media client. Above is an out-take from one of the food shots, yes they are very good.
It was a along day of Travel. Lan Bui of the Bui brothers fame gave me a lift to the airport, this was the scene from his car.
I had an enjoyable over night trip to California. I meet a lot of great people. I hope to go back soon (maybe for longer)…. time for bed, I have class in the morning.
Blue sky, warm and a shadow of a palm tree on the hotel where I’m staying. This is very different than what I left in Detroit.
Today I photographed lifestyle images for a good client of mine in Southfield Michigan. I think we created some great images. Unfortunately, I can’t show them before the client sees them. I’m sure some will end up in my portfolio.
My client also asked me to photograph some architectural elements. The image above is one of the out-takes.
