As I’m typing the headline Ava exclaimed (with no picture displayed) – daddy why did you type “baby bird”. She’s 4, when did she start reading?
Anyway, every year we have a few lost baby birds in our yard. They are usually Robins in the spring. We don’t know what kind of bird this is. Do you?

Our neighbors are fostering puppies. They are 11 weeks old and will be up for adoption in a few weeks. No Ava, we can’t have a puppy.

Just hanging out on a hot summer holiday.

Its been a while since we’ve photographed Mr. Teddy.

I don’t mind Teddy enjoying Ava’s blow up chair – as long as he is comfortable. But, please, don’t scare the cat.

My friend Greg’s cat Joey watching birds in the window.

Today Shirley, Ava and I joined about twenty people for a photowalk at the Detroit Zoo. You can’t go wrong in the butterfly house. We had a great time.
